My novel – The Midnight Factory – was recently featured on the podcast Indie Reads Aloud, hosted by Diana Catherine Penn.
The show, now in its fifth season, spotlights independent authors by giving them space to talk honestly about their work and to read directly from their books. It was a pleasure to join Diana for a thoughtful conversation about writing, indie publishing, and the journey of bringing a debut novel into the world.
During the episode, I had the chance to read from The Midnight Factory and discuss the ideas behind the story – a dystopian thriller set in a near-future United Kingdom, exploring control, resistance, and self-discovery. We also talked about the realities of indie publishing and what it means to take creative and entrepreneurial ownership of your work.
I’m grateful to Diana for supporting indie voices and for creating a platform where stories can travel far beyond borders. If you enjoy discovering new independent fiction and hearing directly from authors, I highly recommend giving the podcast a listen.
